Electrical Safety Inspections and Checks

At Greenlite, we carry out planned safety inspections and safety checks on all lighting and energy saving related equipment as part of our scheduled maintenance programmes. These are carried out by skilled, trained and qualified personnel and is designed to ensure compliance to current legislation relation to electricity in the work place.

Main Purpose of Legislation

The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 cover electrical systems, equipment and conductors and work activities on or near electrical equipment. The purpose of the Regulations is to require precautions to be taken against the risk of death or personal injury from electricity during work activities.
