This family owned hotel is situated on the sea front, close to St Annes Pier and within easy walking distance of the towns many shops. The bright lights of Blackpool are just 15 minutes away and the Championship golf courses of Lytham St Annes are a stones throw away.

Guests can enjoy facilities including the Decleor spa, gym and 20 metre indoor swimming pool. The Ofsted approved Pebbles crèche is also available to residents. The hotel has 126 spacious bedrooms and is Centrally located on St Annes’ famous promenade with back, front and underground parking for 150 cars. The leisure facilities include a 20 metre pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Aromatic Steam Room, Splash Pool, Two stylish and relaxing lounges and four bars, Patio Café Bar, Atrium Brasserie & Bar and The Carvery, and a Gymnasium with separate Cardio Theatre

The Project

Greenlite Lighting Solutions carried out a complete lighting audit of the 126 bedroom Dalmeny Hotel in St Annes on Sea. Measures included replacing magnetic ballast product with high frequency, and halogen product with LED product, overall the energy savings are over £24,000 per year. The Dalmeny Hotel took advantage of the Carbon Trust Loans Scheme and effectively replaced all the measures within the reduced cost of there energy bills. Greenlite Lighting Solutions installation contractors carried out the measures to enable a quick turn around for minimal disruption to the hotel guests.

This equates to a saving per year of £24,000

On a 5 year life cycle, this will be a potential energy saving of over £120,000 for a hotel that has 126 bedrooms.
